Happy New Year's Eve Basset lovers. I have to say that my New Year's Eve hasn't gotten off to the start that I would like.First - Daddy Dan has started a very not-so-nice habit of pointing a one eye monster looking object that spits out water at me and spraying me every time I politely sit outside their door and try to wake them up. He did this twice to me - once at 2 am and once at 6 am. All I wanted to do was play, but I was rudely greeted by the one eyed monster spitting water at me. Not.Nice.
Second - someone needs to teach Miss Lulu some manners and common courtesy. When Mommy got up to feed us this morning, I went to greet her (and put in my 2 cents about Daddy's antics). Lulu got off the couch making some weird dying cat sounding noises. And then, without warning, some milky looking substance came out of her mouth. It got on the carpet and on MY brand-new rawhide bone. Not sure what it was, I gave it a lick. BLECH! It was throw-up (otherwise known as barf and vomit). The worst part was that after Lulu puked, she got all of the attention! Mommy treated her like a little baby, cooing and rubbing her belly. I did NOT get my usual morning belly rub. If you ask me, I think Lulu did this on purpose to get attention. Because she's been running around the rest of the morning fine and dandy.
I heard through the grapevine that Daddy Dan may be taking us to the dog park today. I sure hope so. That would somewhat make up for the basset injustices I've dealt with this morning.
Happy New Year,
FLASH
